Zakiyyah has journeyed alongside some of the most vulnerable members of the global community over the last 25 years with individuals and their families.
Zakiyyah has experience supporting the most vulnerable members of community and has journeyed with those across the life-course from newborns through to our elder community who have experienced violence and abuse, homelessness, grief and loss, unfair treatment, health crisis workplace issues, mental health issues emotional problems and parenting or family concerns.
Zakiyyahâs passions have led her to obtaining a wide range of experience and qualifications which enhance her holistic practice. She is a qualified Doula, and the first and only NCAST Accredited Parent – Child Interaction Instructor and Assessor in South Australia in both Feeding and Teaching Scales.
Zakiyyah is also often invited to speak at Conferences and deliver workshops for community members and service providers. Her most recent presentation was at the World Association for Infant Mental Health Conference where she delivered on the My Babyâs Mind Resource which she has developed to support Service Providers to better engage with families from multicultural backgrounds.
